Greyhound in disguise
Large Male Greyhound Dog
Just you watch! Smart, special Bobby will indeed transform into your loyal, grey best friend.
Don't be fooled by his short snout, Bobby is 100%, true blue greyhound with all his wonderful grey-ness immediately evident. He often sleeps in the ‘roach’ position, his breath balloons out of his oversized cheeks, he does big sleep sighs and snores, and you may even spot a tongue dangling lazily out of his mouth. He also regularly shows happy 'chatters' when he smells particularly fragrant neighbour hound wees - very cute! Bobby also experiences ‘freezing’ on walks – a typical greyhound trait. However, he is getting better and better at walking without stopping, especially with the assistance of throwing treats. He enjoys two to three walks a day. For mutual ease, yours and his, he would be happiest with a backyard in his new home as Bobby loves an early morning wee and, of course, a famous greyhound ‘zoomie’ to help burn any leftover energy.
In new environments Bobby may be anxious, but with patience, care, and giving him a stable routine, his incredible personality shines. He could do well with the company of other greys to help keep him entertained when he wants to play, however, Bobby definitely can be a solo dog as long as he has his routine, regular toy play, and walks. Bobby loves being spoilt with toys, treats, and feeding games to keep his smart mind busy and to keep growing his confidence.
After a life of racing, Bobby experienced seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy, however, since being medicated on 4/8/20, he hasn't experienced a single seizure!
Bobby is not cat or bird friendly and will need help overcoming his fear of small dogs.
