Macy, our gorgeous chocolate brindle loves her two daily 30 minute walks but could stretch it out if more is on offer.
In between her walks, at home Macy will settle and is happy to assume the responsibilities of a lapdog. She may break out into indoor zoomies in the morning when you get up and display her trademark bunny jumps at moments of excitement.
Macy is learning basic instructions from her foster Mums including “wait” and “OK’ on her walks and doing some “watch me” training to be more comfortable encountering other dogs on her walks.
At home Macy is a champion at most challenges like up and down stairs. Her foster carers describe her and playful, curious, confident and affectionate. Macy loves to show her love with nose kisses.
Macy is lucky to be fostered with her foster brother Andy who is also her actual brother. They were rescued together with two other siblings, also in foster care in Melbourne. We would be very open to adopting them as a pair. This may suit a home with folk away from the home more often. They will be able to provide company for each other.
