Everybody loves Raymond, or at least that’s how you’ll feel with this brindle beauty by your side! With his wonky ears, sweet face, and gentle temperament, he is a neighbourhood favourite and loves to stop for a quick snuggle with his human friends. You’ll need to be prepared to receive lots of compliments about what a handsome good boy he is as he accompanies you on an errand or brunch date.

Currently in care with another greyhound, Raymond isn’t fussed spending time without his humans (he likes to pass the time on his bed in front of a big window and watch the world go by), but he also enjoys coming along for the adventure. He travels well in the car, and sits politely on his mat at the café.

While he has come a long way with his confidence out on walks during his time in foster care, navigating main roads and train noises with ease nowadays, he is still uncomfortable being around off lead dogs, and doesn’t love head on greetings. He is happiest just enjoying his walk with his humans, and would prefer to give other dogs a polite berth as they pass.

Speaking of confidence, this brave boy is unphased by thunderstorms and sleeps through them as they rumble through. His foster carers note that he has such a relaxed and laid back attitude at home, he is a very easy going and good boy. Even with his toileting he’ll stand patiently by the door when he needs to go out, and if that doesn’t grab your attention he’ll make a very soft woof, keen not to disturb the peace of the household.

Although this sweet gentleman is very good with children and really loves a hug from those he meets out and about, he also enjoys his quiet foster home; so may suit a couple of retirees with visiting grandchildren as opposed to a busy family home.
