A sleep in superstar, social butterfly, puppy energy playmate, and with that face and butter soft ears to boot? Could Ralph be any dreamier if he tried?!

With this handsome hound by your side, you’ll soon be making friends both canine and human around the neighbourhood. Ralph loves nothing more than to be the centre of attention when out and about, and doesn’t much care how that is delivered (face licks from puppies, boisterous groodles in his face, sharing his mat at the pub - it’s all a good time for Ralph!). Although he is currently in care as an “only child” we think this gorgeous guy would make a wonderful brother to another medium to large breed dog.

While he hasn’t quite mastered the art of “laying down in public”, with a little more time and training, Ralph’s foster carers think he will make a wonderful pub dog/cafe date. So long as you don’t mind being approached by everyone who will exclaim what a good and handsome boy he is - Ralph is a confident and gregarious companion who does not shy away from the limelight, and loves an outing to a busy spot. The more people around for him to meet, the better!

Ralph truly embraces his inner puppy, he does everything with 110% enthusiasm, and play time with his human is just the best thing in the whole world! He’d love a yard to impress you with his zoomies, and encourage you to chase him around or throw a toy. He currently gets two walks a day, and still has energy to burn so a home willing to set up enrichment games or even work on trick training to tire out his brain is a must - while he can snooze a work day away, he does need a little bit more work than the average couch potato.

A modern man in touch with his needs, Ralph loves to communicate. The opposite of strong and silent type, this goofy goober has a fantastic range of vocalisations from whines and grumbles to outright borks - you can expect to be kept abreast of any situation he finds himself in, regardless of if you’re in the middle of a work call.

While settling into foster care Ralph had a few instances of sleep startle, this has reduced significantly and is not a problem when he is in his own bed or napping on the floor, but we recommend that he does not share close quarters like couches or beds to reduce potential for conflict, especially in the first few weeks in a new home. Ralph will still deliver you plenty of snuggles and opportunities to lay the love on him, this affectionate lad will present his noggin for smooches any time you lean down on his level, and he adores a squeezy hug.

From his undeniable charm to his happy go lucky personality, our golden boy is ready to light up your life!
