Connor is such a sweet boy, very gentle in temperament, and likes to do things at his own pace. Much more couch potato than bouncy bean, he’s a soft and smoochy lad who will win your heart with his polite manners and gentlemanly airs.
Whatever the opposite to counter surfing is, that’s Connor. You can leave a charcuterie tray in front of him and he will simply patiently wait to be offered his share, never deigning to help himself (how rude!). This is the theme of his manners in the house, Connor awaits your instruction and happily obliges - he’s not interested in making a fuss or barging into things. He trusts the humans he loves will help to show him the way. Speaking of trust, Connor is still learning the stairs in his foster home, they are a bit steep for a greyhound to get down, we think he might best enjoy a single level home.
A lover of the lean, Connor takes maximum advantage of humans on the couch time to cuddle up and get his fill of affection. As he settles into foster care he is becoming quite the affection seeker.
On walks Connor is his usual unfazed self, showing minimal interest in other dogs and preferring to focus on all the sniffs and wee-mails to be done. He is social and doesn’t mind other dogs in his personal space, but on the lead he won’t be pulling you over to say hi to every canine he sees. His current routine is 2 × 20 minute strolls a day, and with a little zoomie or two in the garden (encouraged by his foster carers, he likes an audience for play time!) this is plenty of exercise to ensure he’s a snoozy couch potato for the rest of the day.
Currently living as an only child, Connor is happy to be left home alone for a work day, with access to the garden. We think he would be fine either living with an equally matched canine sibling, or continue to be your one and only. With his sweet temperament, Connor would integrate well into a family home with human siblings over the age of 6.
With his soulful eyes and beautiful nature, this noir noodle will be sure to capture your heart on first meeting - it will be a lucky forever home who give up their couch to this cuddlebug.
