Nina is a cosmopolitan girlie! Currently living in an apartment, she loves her two 40+ minute walks a day, and is unbothered by the sights and sounds of a busy area. She loves to be out and about with her people, and has a lot of energy to burn, so playtime, training, and enrichment at home makes up for the lack of yard to stretch the speed sticks. Once her needs are met, she will switch to snooze mode and spend the day giving her best couch potato impression.

As an apartment dweller Nina has a midday toilet walk to break up the workday but is a cool cucumber about spending time by herself - with a dog walker or access to a yard via a dog door she could happily live with full-time workers. She can get a bit overly excited by other dogs, especially if they’re high energy themselves, so we think she would do best as an “only child” to avoid being too much of a hype girl. She’s more of a polite-but-brief drive by sniff on a walk, as opposed to free for all style play dates with other dogs.

Although she’s not technically allowed on human beds or couches, Nina feels that rule simply does not apply if there is no one around to enforce it! She does really love to cuddle with her people and does not have any sleep startle or guarding issues, so a forever home who would welcome her onto these spaces would be her dream.

Nina is great with car travel, and happily gets in and out without assistance, but she is not quite a stair master and would prefer a single level home as she will not hesitate to go up a flight but becomes daunted by the idea of coming back down - this can present some challenges for her humans once she’s raced her way up to the next floor.

A super sweetheart, Nina’s foster home love her googly eyes (especially when she’s looking for a cuddle) and her loving personality. She is a gorgeous girl inside and out who will fit a range of different lifestyles and home environments.
