The perfect fit for a weekend warrior lifestyle, our Sadie superstar is a couch potato x bouncy bean! With the right mix of enrichment opportunities, playtime with her people, and a canine sibling for fun and games, this little lady will happily snooze the rest of the day away while you head off to work. Come Saturday though she’s totally down for that gentle hike or trip to the beach.

Sadie grows in confidence every day in her loving foster home. She is naturally curious and will always do her best to explore new areas, even when there are things that might be a bit scary at first. She is still a little wary of loud trucks, cyclists zooming past, or noisy playgrounds - but with a confident canine by her side, and maybe a treat or two, she can conquer any fear.

Out and about Sadie loves to meet any human she sees. She often draws admirers who compliment her bright grin, gorgeous brindle coat, and soft floppy ears (which she is always open to having stroked). Sadie enjoys saying hello to other dogs too, but can be a bit shy of small dogs as they often bark at her. She thinks fellow greyhounds are just fantastic, and otherwise has a varied social circle of huskies, labradors, and mastiffs.

Sadie is thriving in foster care with another female greyhound, and has no problems sharing her space and things. In her forever home she would love a canine sister who tolerates her snuggles and silly games - couch cuddles as a whole family are a must too!

Sadie is very clever and takes well to training with treats. Having learned many skills she knows things like going to her bed and coming when called, and is a stair-master who confidently jumps in and out of the car. She will even help prepare the recycling without being asked (you’ll never have to deconstruct a box again with Sadie around).

Our Sadie is a ready made little sister, and would love to join a home with another equally playful dog.
