Taking the Golden Boy theme very seriously, William (Big Wills to his friends) is truly the very best boy.
Wills LOVES people and will not discriminate! Despite his size, he is delighted meeting children on his walks and gentle with older people with mobility issues. Wills just loves to do a ‘lean’ on anybody in the vicinity willing to cuddle and pat him. He is a shadow and follows his foster carer from room to room, but is comfortable and confident in spending time alone as needed - although he really doesn't see why he has to if there are people he could be hanging out with.
An active lad, Wills enjoys daily walks and will even do a light jog if exercise is on offer. At home he loves play and gets the silly zoomies - he would be thrilled if his forever home had a yard where he could show off his skills throwing his crocodile toy.
Call greyhound mensa, Wills likes learning new things! It only took him ten minutes to come when called, and as a big foodie who enjoys a range of yummy things from rice cakes to cheese, training will be a breeze for a motivated person. He still needs some work on his confidence outside and can be a bit freezey with loud noises and even other dogs, but inside he is very self assured, taking the robot vacuum in stride.
Wills is sweet and gentle, but can take a bit of time to feel confident meeting new dogs. He does get stiff and nervous on first greeting - if given the time to explore at his own pace, he relaxes and then makes friends. He could happily be an "only child", but if his forever home has another dog (or access to one on a regular basis) it may help him to refine his social skills better and make more canine friends.
Wills is a gorgeous boy inside and out, and would love to join a family home who will delight in his playful and sweet temperament, and give him all the attention and affection he deserves.
