Kanji is a gorgeous social girl who loves a cuddle and will bring joy to any home. She is an elegant girl with her sleek black coat with white markings. She can contrast her elegant looks with goofy and cheeky antics. She loves being with her humans and also her foster brother a male greyhound. Kanji is affectionate and will demand pats and cuddles at any opportunity.

Kanji deserves her comforts in her new life. She had been a little unlucky.

Kanji had a fracture so has restricted movement of her front right wrist. After her racing career, Kanji lost a litter of puppies. If that wasn’t sad enough it was discovered she had uterine cancer. Her uterus was successfully removed and the vets are happy with the outcome. Some special attention to her health will be necessary in the next couple of years. She has fully recovered from the surgery and is fit enough to keep up with the zoomies and a regular walk schedule but can’t overdo it. Kanji enjoys two 30 minute walks a day and extra toilets breaks as she is in a highrise apartment.

Kanji is getting used to the hustle and bustle of inner city living but may still be a little startled by unexpected noise or a bicycle crashing past. She is happy to set out on any adventure and can manage jumping in and out of the car.
On her walks Kanji will notice other dogs but is happy to move on without much interaction. She would prefer not to go to places with off lead dogs zooming around her unless she can join in the fun. Given her history of a fracture it is best to keep her exercise to easy walks. In her home she is quite affectionate and social with her foster brother Marshal, an older male grey. They get on very well and Kanji loves a game of stealing his toys and lying on top of them when he is distracted. You almost hear her giggling. Marshal also takes it in good humour.

Kanji understands basic commands and knows the house rules. She will lounge arrange enjoying her new life and comforts including taking great care in rearranging her bedding for maximum comfort. Kanjo also loves to watch sport on the TV with you. She was also easy to toilet train

Kanji loves being around her humans and likes to stay close. But if not much is happening she will just nap on her bed all day. She has been left home alone with Marshal for several hours without stress, just excitement when you get home. She may struggle being home alone for long periods unless she has a suitable canine companion.

Gentle, elegant Kanji will be a welcome goofy and loving addition to her forever home.
