A social butterfly

We know that you're probably dazzled by that gorgeous face, but underneath Rosemarie's beautiful exterior is an even more beautiful heart - this sweet girl is an affectionate and outgoing girl who loves to love. A social butterfly, Rosemarie's foster carer reports that on her morning walks she simply must go by the train station to solicit pats from everyone headed to work or school, every stranger is a friend she hasn't met yet and is always greeted with enthusiasm and delight.

Although currently in care as a solo dog, and able to handle a few hours left alone (not a full working day), Rosemarie loves her sleepovers with a fellow foster hound, and could easily live with another greyhound as she has no issues around sharing space or toys. She hasn't been tested with dogs of other breeds other than politely walking by them on lead, and can be a bit freezey/avoidant with small dogs.

Rosemarie is still young so higher energy for a greyhound. She enjoys two walks a day and at home enrichment to keep her busy brain occupied. A great walker, the sounds of trams and trucks along busy roads don't faze Rosemarie, and she loves to take in new places like parks and beaches (especially if there's a fun drive in the car to get there). When her needs for stimulation are met she is a dream in the home, and will then happily snooze away on her bed for the rest of the day.
Rosemarie loves to have access to puzzle toys and paper or cardboard that she can "help" recycle - but she has excellent manners in that she does not help herself to things that are not hers, and has no interest in counter surfing. She even waits on her bed when her foster carer is cooking.

With her sweet and gentle nature, Rosemarie may enjoy living in a family home with children over the age of five - she would love to be included in all the activity (coming along to watch a Saturday football game? Sounds fun!) and the hustle and bustle of a home with little partners in crime would keep her very happy. Alternatively, she could be a doted upon only child if her humans were home more often than not.
