Swifty by name, but unhurried by nature - this beautiful noir noodle is every bit the greyhound stereotype. She’s an easy going couch potato who enjoys her walks but equally loves a lazy afternoon curled up in bed! Her moderate energy levels are easily matched by two sniffy walks a day and plenty of downtime at home. She’s not a hound who needs to be occupied or given things to do, this calm girl appreciates her rest and relaxing.

Stepping into life as a well loved pet at six years old, this sweet bean seemed determined to take everything in stride and settled into the routines of her foster home remarkably well; she is very comfortable once she can begin to predict the comings and goings of her people. Swifty loves her mealtimes and has a healthy appetite (no fussy eaters or funny tummies here!), and she sleeps very well through the night. Although generally calm and dignified, occasionally the excitement cannot be contained and Swifty will do a few trotting laps around the coffee table with a swishy tail swing, much to her foster carers delight - it’s her biggest display of the happies, and generally reserved for such momentous occasions as someone returning home.

Approaching her time outdoors with her signature relaxed manner, Swifty prefers to ignore passing dogs and people in favour of focusing on good smells and things to be inspected. She walks beautifully on lead and loves best to walk right in between her two foster carers, ensuring everyone is having a lovely stroll together.

Swifty’s foster carers describe her as “calm and steady, with such a lovely, peaceful presence. She doesn’t demand a lot from you and seems genuinely happy just to be part of the household” - the ideal match for first time greyhound guardians, this beautiful girl is sure to delight a lucky forever home.
