Kimi is a confident young pup. He is up for any adventure on offer. He is comfortable walking in a busy urban area, happy and curious about everything happening around him. He is friendly, eager to meet humans and get some extra pats. He does get a lot of attention from the neighbours with his warm curious eyes that invite you for a pat or an ear scratch. Also his white and fawn cow patterned coat turns heads. Although, because he is a small boy, some rude people think he is a whippet or whippet cross. Outrageous ! I’m one hundred percent greyhound thank you very much.

He is very curious meeting all these new strange dogs and can get a bit excited, particularly dogs off lead running about or chasing a ball. He’d love to be a part of that fun too but has to stay on lead. Kimi currently enjoys two to three shorter walks as he is in an apartment with only a small yard. He’d be up for a longer walk when you have time. His foster carers are confident he will be fine in the car and learn to jump in and out but they don’t have a car so this is a little untested.
Kimi is very calm and comfortable with interactions with his humans, patient while they change his coat, brush his teeth and general handling.

In his home Kimi has mastered the stairs and is learning some basic commands. He enjoys training, particularly if treats are involved. He is clever and settled into foster life very quickly.
Initially he had two canine housemates but now just one, a female grey. They get along fine but Kimi tends to do his own thing so we feel he could adapt to being an only dog. He does love to hang out with his humans and would like to stay close but also understands when they need him to chill and settle while they are working at home.
Kimi loves his toys and occasionally borrow a sock to other small piece of clothing to take on a little adventure. Of course this little fella likes to impress you with a short display of zoomies most evenings.

Kimi is a confident and affectionate boy who will adapt to most homes.

Suitable for a home as the only dog or a suitable companion dog.

Will adapt to a home with a working family provided not home alone more than four hours on a regular basis.
